To ensure optimal safety and the highest efficacy for your treatment, we ask our guests to strictly adhere to the following pre-care guidelines:

• The Shaving Rule: Please cleanly shave the entire area to be treated 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.
• Preserve the Root: Do not wax, pluck, thread, or use chemical bleaches for at least 4 to 6 weeks before your appointment, as the laser requires the hair root to be intact to target it effectively.
• Sun Restrictions: Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and sunless tanning creams for 6 weeks prior to treatment. Laser efficacy is optimized when the skin is at its natural baseline tone.
• Medication Review: Discontinue any light-sensitive herbs or medications at least 24 hours prior to your session, and notify our specialists of your current skincare routine.

During your session, our laser specialists calibrate the GentleMax Pro Plus settings to perfectly match your specific hair density, color, location, and skin tone.

As the handpiece passes over the target area, it delivers a precise pulse of light down the hair shaft. The melanin absorbs this light and converts it to heat, safely destroying the hair follicle at the root to prevent future growth. Simultaneously, the integrated Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) emits a cooling burst of cryogen, ensuring your skin remains protected, comfortable, and cool throughout the entire process.

To protect your investment and prevent temporary pigment changes, it is mandatory to avoid direct sun exposure / tanning beds and apply a premium, high-protection sunscreen (SPF 70 or higher) daily when spending time outdoors in the Florida climate.

Immediately following your session, you may experience mild redness or slight swelling (perifollicular edema), which naturally subsides within a few hours.

For 24 to 48 hours post-treatment, the skin may feel warm, similar to a mild sunburn. To relieve any discomfort after the procedure, you can apply ice packs, cold water, or anti-inflammatory creams. Over the next 2 to 4 weeks, the treated hairs will naturally shed from the follicles.

Because hair grows in three distinct cyclical phases (Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen), the laser can only destroy follicles currently in the active growth phase. To achieve flawless, permanent clearance, sessions are strategically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Most clients achieve their aesthetic goals within 3 to 6 sessions.
